The Show Must Go On - Released by Intellivision Collector.

It's medieval times, and you've just been hired by the King as a new court jester. The King was tired of the existing jester, and was looking for new entertainment ideas.

Luckily, you happened to be very skilled at spinning plates. You have persuaded the King to organize a big variety show, so you can show him your skills.

However, the old jester is still around, and he is VERY jealous. He has some evil tricks up his sleeve to try and sabotage your show, throwing knives at you, fireballs, knocking down your plates, and other nasty stuff.

But, THE SHOW MUST GO ON! Keep the King entertained!

Plate Spinning at it's Best

At first glance, one might view this game as just a simple port of Mr. Chin on the MSX, but The Show Must Go On! is so much more than that. Switching out the theme of the game to that of a Jester competing to impress the King, you'll have to do more than just keep plates spinning and stay alive to do well here. In a unique twist on the traditional scoring format, the King's mood is based on the entertainment value of your gameplay. Be sure to jump and barely dodge death to impress him and the audience. This, combined with the level variety gives The Show Must Go On! great character that you'll come back to often.
