When your Intellivision Master Component malfunctions, reach first for the MTE-201 Test Cartridge! Developed to aid in tracking down faulty components on the logic board before disassembly, it can help determine the most likely cause of a problem.

This version 4.1B of the diagnostic cartridge tests 13 different functions on all commercially available Intellivision Master Component models and reports fault codes and suspect ICs. After checking all Hand Controller keys, buttons, and the disc, you can run tests either manually or automatically on the CPU, GROM, GRAM (U & L), SROM, SRAM, PROM, PSG, and the STIC.

For the Sprint, this will allow you to fully test your hand controllers.

Testing concludes with a game of Night Stalker in  order to validate that the console is functioning properly.
